I talked someone Saturday that hit tech support and had not ordered yet. Not sure if you are the person, but he too said he was going to put the cash he saved in his project.

Don't forget to register the unit and join our forum, we have promotions all the time.

Got my power ultra 205 in a few days back, and it works like a champ. I have not used the stick function yet, but the tig and plasma are great! The tig arc is smooth, the pedal is responsive, and the plasma cuts awesome. The pressure gauge and amp display are great features as well.

few follow up pictures. This was an air-air intercooler off a big truck. Friend that works at a cement company sent a few my way for repair.

we pressure tested it at 40 pounds and didn't have any issues.

Maxx,

Nice to see someone making quick dollar on repairs. Hope this economy is going to flip back around soon.

Have you see our new welding helmets?

Maxx,

The website seems to change daily. Sorry about that.

The filters are pretty nice. Check our forum (where Cabletech linked). I think we have info on there and there's a youtube on "Everlast Helmets" as well. YouTube - Everlast Power Vision Welding Helmet

Pricing coming soon.

Maxx,

Going for argon and mix refills tomorrow. Will pick up some 5052. You were right on the number. I googled it.

Also you are all set on our website.

talked to alex today and got my powerultra 205 ordered and got a smoking deal....the plasma torch is gonna make building my bumpers much easier...now all i gotta do is learn how to tig weld. he also mentioned they were in the process of testing out an inverter so the dc machines could also weld aluminuim hopefully by the time it comes out i'll have figured out the tig part and be ready to start figuring out the aluminium

yeah I got some info/pictures on them. looks like decent hoods, might have to pick one up as a backup.

the 5052's nice for doing stuff on lower grade aluminum, its alot more forgiving then some of the higher grade alloy grades, like 6061/7075. worked perfect for my application

Maxx,

Got two helmet today to test (Dual and quad sensor model). They are very nice. Light, matching my welders too.

I received the ones with the digital LCD and touch button. Very clear, will be using them today or tomorrow, once I get off my lazy tail and get going. Still have some cutting to do, but might go right to the TIG.
