yeah curious to see how they work for you.

I'll never go back to a dual sensor again, Ive never been flashed with a quad sensor even being in some weird places.

The clarity is fantastic. I use the quad, works great. Had to turn it to the minimum sensitivity since I was in direct sunlight. My son used the dual. I did not try it.

I am very pleased. I did not flip the filter, might try that today. I thought it was fine, but a friend said flip it and try it, he flipped his. I dropped the quad on cement (not on purpose and it was gonna happen sooner or later). No damage at all, not even a mark on the plastic. Will keep you posted, but the quad has my vote for sure.

After reading all the info on pirate 4X4 about the powermaster 205 I called Alex and ordered one. There's one on the boat with my name on it.

Should be in soon just need to wait for it to come.

We had a delay on the unit since we made last minute changes on the front panel. The 205 is a nice unit.

Here is a little practice piece that I did. It's not the best looking tig weld, but its a start!

This model has a DC pulse off (for straight DC) and does arc welding as well So you can use it with no gas or regulator right when you get it. If you are used to stick welding.

Later as you get into the TIG, you'll find it is really not that hard. And our support forum/staff will help you as well, just ask what is recommended to get you started on a project. Have you looked at the DX model?
