Question:
On your website, comparing the specs of the various Multipurpose Units, I'm looking at the plasma capabilities of the machines. With multiple machines having 50A @ 60% duty cycle, why is there 3 different cutting thicknesses specified? 5/8", 3/4", and 1". Can you straighten out this confusion for me please?

Hi Aj Johnson,

I clicked on the link, and it takes us to multi-purpose The difference ratings are set for different materials. Although there are customers reporting up to 1" cuts on a 50amp plasma cutter, you will get a great cut at 1/2" and a descent cut at 5/8". If you are going to be cutting 1" often, we recommend our ForceCut 60D unit or our ForceCut 70 - 70amp plasma cutter.

thanks, that answered my question. I was mainly concerned about being able to cut up to 1" if i ever needed to.
I can't see it happening often, but having the capability there is important to me.

I sent a PM explaining the units, and I have included some prices. For everyone who does not know the difference between the WeldAll 200P and the WeldAll 200PI, the WeldAll 200P uses TOSHIBA MOSFET technology and the WeldAll 200PI uses IGBT technology. The WeldAll 200P is designed for hobby use, while the 200PI is meant for more rigorous and commercial applications. It also features continuous pilot arc, which is a great benefit to plasma cutting.

Our IGBT technology features the newest designs and the newest features.
