Wiring connectors
Just wandering where you guys buy your wiring connectors, and which connectors you use the most of.
We buy connectors by the thousands, and I think we can offer them to you guys cheaper than you can buy them other places. I am also thinking about putting together a "kit" but was wanting some input on what connectors you guys use the most. Just looking for input. I can also sell connectors in bulk if anyone needs them. Thanks, jason

Generally for small quanities (10 pcs) I'll hit West Marine for the 3M heat shrink connectors.
Almost everything I do has heat shrinkable crimp connectors, so would be interested in quan 10, 25, and 100pc bags. Normally I pay from 30c to 90c per connector for those critters. Ouch! I still have a steel box with an assortment of connectors (mostly nylon in that box for around the shop repairs) that I bought 30 years ago. Nice to have the assorments (I just refill with good molex or 3m as needed).

I use Waytek Wire and in addition to reasonable pricing, they also have really good customer service.
Del City also has good stuff at good prices. The bar in this category is pretty high. As a consumer, I'll wish you good luck.

![]() I like the connectors with the 'dual wall' heat shrink. Inner layer is an adhesive that melts and seals everything. I haven't looked in Walmart for connectors in ages, but usually Walmart and most Autoparts stores had the cheapest and lowest quality connectors. Some unknown blister packed packages. Hence hitting up places like West Marine. Local NAPA had excellent quality (3M) stuff... $$$$. Just been a long time since I hit up Wally world for electrical stuff. Usually I do get bulk stuff from Waytek... For Aircraft, been hitting up Stein Air (color coded tefzel wire... overkill for a rig, but at 10,000 feet hard to pull over to avoid fumes from a fire) Tom
