All our water table CNC plasma cutters (4x4 4x8 and 5x10) feature U shaped slat configurations for slats that last a long long time.

How deep are the water trays?

They look pretty shallow any issue with running a 1250 or 1650 hypertherm at full power blowing water all over the work piece?

No issues with the 1650 or 1250. We run 2.5" deep pans. Each slat is actually supported in 3 locations with a small gap underneath them so the water can travel evenly over the entire table. When water cutting you will get some water up and around the cut. This will help keep the part cool as well as control major warpage along the cut path. DTHC sometimes isnt enough to get a high quality part off a CNC plasma table. Without water cooling you may be dimensionally accurate but the part is warped to shit. To combat this a water tray along with DTHC is King!

I was looking at your site and I was wondering, does the gantry kit include the software? If I buy the gantry kit, build my table (4 x 8), already have a T.D. Cutmaster52, what else do I need? What OS does the software operate under?

Unfortunately, my work schedule does not permit me time to call during the day, so I need to get most of my info via here or emails.

What is Cad/Cam? Is it a commercial product? Any links to it?
Are there any tutorials? Or commercially written books/ manuals?

Would you care to comment on a comparison of your software package vs Torchmate? I watched their videos for some basic info.

What computer do I need? I'm currently running Macs.

Is any part of the kit proprietary? Or can I source replacement parts elsewhere if needed?

I browsed your forums, but did not gain much info. I presume that support is readily available for initial set-up and occasional troubleshooting?
