Swag Off Road Arbor Press Plates

[Swag Off Road]

Sold in pairs of two.

Laser cut from 1.5" thick A-572-GR 50 steel.

The outside dimensions are 10" X 8.5" X 1.5' or 9.75" X 9.75" X 1.5" larger than most arbor plates.

These steel press plates are to replace the junk cast arbor plates that will shatter under heavy load which is very dangerous. Cast arbor plates are typical provided with hydraulic presses.

The arbor plates make a great addition to the DIY 20 ton press brake kit I also sell here. http://www.swagoffroad.com/20_Ton_Press_Brake.html. Since the bottom of the press brake needs to be fully supported these arbor plates are longer than the cast arbor plates that are typicaly provided with a 20 ton press.

Ships flat rate USPS box.

Total weight per pair 62 lbs or 69 lbs depending upon which size you order.

Because some of you are going to ask what is the difference between A572 Gr-50 steel VS 1018 Cold Rolled Steel.

Mechanical Properties A572 Gr 50:
Tensile: 65 ksi min
Yield: 50 ksi min
Elongation: 16% min

Mechanical Properties 1018 Cold Rolled Steel:
Tensile: 63.8 ksi min
Yield: 53.7 ksi min
Elongation: 15% min

Fantastic! One recommendation is to make the plates 10" x 10", so they fit the bigger 20T Presses.

Yes, the press brake is way too cool and been getting a workout with some 4130 material for airplane parts.

Shipping price on the arbor plates are the same price anywhere in the USA. $10.50, you have to love flate rate USPS boxes. The arbor plates sell for $150+$10.50 Shipping. I have them in stock and can ship them out today.

I ordered and received these plates as well as your press die set up. They are both quite impressive. I have already used the plates with my home made 30 ton press; quite manly!! Still haven't used the die in the press but it looks like will do exactly what I need for brackets for my street rod. Good job and good quality!

Year end blow out........I just took home another shipment or arbor plates today. If I I wanted to blow them out I would quit bringing them in.
