Shortcut for Torchmate CAD
Hi All.... New to this forum. Have had our Torchmate for about 2 mos. I was wondering if any of you remember what the shortcut for moving objects back to 0,0 is.
I seem to remember seeing something abou that in one of the training videos but I did not write it down. I was hoping to avoid having to go back and rewatch the video for that one shortcut. Thanks in Advance |

when you click on a shape or objects and they turn red, in the upper left hand corner there will be four boxes IIRC its the two on the left put the value of 0 in hit enter then go to the box below do the same thing. also note to the left of these boxes will be a square with nine little squares on it. if you pick the lower left square your part will then be in the X+,Y+ quadrant. it is extremely handing for moving shapes around,
if you note the other set of numbers to the right those would be the absolute x,y location for where ever the little red square is selected. makes it supper easy to draw two parts that need to be welded tabbed or slotted and just align then with the same x or y value. if you are just moving a shape around with the left click of the mouse as you get it to material blank it will sort of snap to different alignments and turn purple. happy CADing it actually gets fun when you learn it |
