Torch fire delay

Ive been doing test cuts on my 4x4, and i have problems. First, my AVHC doesnt work correctly, it will fire and then it lowers the torch down and drags it really hard on the material. Second, my first cut is fine, but after that, my torch fires late and misses about a 1/4 that should be cut

The machine seems like its overriding the pierce delay for the 2nd cuts and so on. I tried automatic and manual mode, still does it.

Is your ground from the machine connected to the plate or the table? Try grounding directly to the plate.

Is your AVHC control cable making contact with your torch lead? More and more issues are popping up and they're being corrected just by separating the cables by an inch or so. They suggest leaving the AVHC control cable in the carrier and running the torch lead on the outside of the cable carrier and using zip ties to secure it.

You need to have the OK to move function interfaced (known on the Hypertherm end as arc transfer signal)...it is pins 12 and 14 on the rear panel CPC connector...and connects to "ok to move" on the AVHC box.....then, go through the procedure to set this up in the setup files. If it is not wired and or setup...you will get the sysmptoms you suggest.
