Hypertherm Powermax 65, I would not go back to any other, I really like being able to change from my machine torch to hand torch in seconds. The support from the company and most of all Jim Colt is the best.

Thermal dynamics A60! If I did it all over again it would be a very hard choice! But hypertherm consumables are everywhere so hypertherm only because of the tech support I've seen "jim colt".

Hypertherm PM65. Had a TD Cutmaster 151 and had some bad luck with it.
I would only buy a Hypertherm from this point forward.

Forgot that part on mine - love the Hypertherm! I have a Powermax 600 that I use for hand stuff and love it as well! Talked my friend into buying a used 600 and he likes his as well.

TD Cutmaster 42. Holding it down for the little guys!!!
![]() Its a cheap machine, and can be extremely frustrating at times, but once you get the hang of it and get it dialed in it makes some pretty sweet cuts. I have every intention of upgrading to a HT65, but am waiting till i can afford height control as well.

I would have a hard time with the price too, but I found a 2 week old 1250 for $1000. Couldn't beat that. Previous to that I found a heavily used 1000 for $1400. I sold the 1000 for $1000 and bought the 1250 with the money. Look around, you may be able to pick up a decent, used machine for much cheaper.
