Typical "Myspace" style pic. I was by myself. Shown with the water table, yes I know the legs need more triangalation, I figured I would cut something cool off the table as gussets. May also put a bottom shelf for metal storage. Or, may build a cart for metal storage that will roll up under the table. Still undecided.

TM3 5x10

It is up and running now (wasn't in the photo). Every one that has seen it immediately says "it's bigger than I expected". My thought on the 5x10 vs. the 4x8: You can always put a 4x8 sheet on a 5x10 table, but you can never put a 5x10 sheet on a 4x8 table. The best thing about the table being that large is that it allows me to put several smaller sheets of different thicknesses and not have to load up different metal all the time.

Bill, I am in your system under Dave Threlkeld, Jr. I just hope all those money tree seeds I planted will start to grow, I NEED the AVHC bad.

Ive been a little slow to do this. But here is something....
It was perfect when it came in, no damage.

The worst thing is we were very busy at work that week, I hate to compain about that but it was bad timing! Anyways I managed to get it together.

And last weekend I built most of a down draft table.

I still have some work to do to it, but I have most of the material already, and the electrician is showing up tomorrow to wire up the new HT 1250....man I cant wait!!

Weve messed with drawing and sending things to the machine and "running" them, but how do you prioritze your cuts? The tube flange I "cut" started with the middle hole first....

Thanks!

There are several different ways to sequence the cuts, but typically the default Male Toolpath will always order the inside cuts before the outside cuts, and that is enough.

To sequence individual cuts, we would break the path after the toolpath is created, and use the start sequence tool to order the cuts individually as to how we wanted them to cut out.

Boy I mustve been pretty tired when I wrote that! I meant to say that it cuts the OUTSIDE first, and Im assuming thats on the default setting.

Thanks!

LOL! Got it. I believe that Mr. TurboKeith is at #38. I expect it will be out of here by Friday. Thanks for your patience!!! I don't think you will be disappointed. Do me a favor and take a couple pic's when it shows up before you unpack it.

Thanks!

Just a guess, but did you make the tube flange and holes all one object by arranging them in a path and then apply the machine paths?

Man, I wish I knew about these 2x2's before I ordered my setup. I probably would have gone that route AND been able to buy a new iron worker for less than what I am in mine for...

Yes, I got a kick out of the giggles too. I think that it isn't possible to stop yourself from giggling when you watch it cut the first few times. Hell, I still giggle and I've had mine up and running for a good 6-7 months now.

why you want a water table...

Well, this is why you certainly want a water table!
I'll let Todd send in the good pics, but this was a topic of discussion yesterday.
