I walked around and took some pictures of what's going on around the shop today. The Torchmate Racing team is heading out tonight for Parker, AZ with the #7231 truck for the Best In The Desert Parker 425. I am sad that I am not going. But, someone has to pay the bills! Provided they don't wad the thing up in Parker, we will have the truck out to play around with at KOH.

Greg couldn't just leave his Raptor alone. He made some modifications including new cage inside (because he has had a tendency to end up on his roof

), a new chase rack in the back, winch inside the front grill and onboard air compressor and tank have been added. He also had his hood wrapped in black to get rid of the glare. It turned out really nice. I would show you his front skid plate, but Ford may see it and void his warranty.

If you see him out at KOH, hit him up for a ride. Then you will understand the need for the cage.

I will have mine out there too if someone is considering buying one, I will take you for a spin. I have not modified anything unless you count body damage.

No dealer in the world will take you for the test drive that we will. We have been working with Ford Country in Henderson, NV. They have been fantastic! If you want a reference, let me know.

Got in a couple new ThermalArc Fabricator 251 Mig Welders today for the shop. Now I need to find another guy or two that can use them. We are really, really busy.

Here is the 2x2 crated and ready to meet its new owner (aka The 2010 King of the Hammers), as well as a picture of the 200+ plaques for all of the participants loaded and ready to head out to the lakebed.

Oh yeah! Almost forgot. Brad and I will be prerunning KOH in the Torchmate Rock Crawler. I took it out and shook it down at moonrocks yesterday. Loaded up and ready to go.
