In a cutmaster 52, you can either tie into the torch trigger wires, or you can take a pair of wires off the correct two pins at terminal J10 inside of the unit.
I don't have the wire colors or positions for the torch trigger wires in front of me, but if you give Thermal Dynamics tech a call at 800-752-7622 they should be able to answer that question very quickly. |

I tied into mine earlier this week. All the wires from the socket to the board are the same color. So I checked my manual and located the appropiate pins and marked those wires with a sharpie pen. Then all I had to do was strip some wire in the middle and tie in. I soldered the wires in place and used liquid tape. Then covered the joint with electrical tape. I drilled a hole in the case and threaded it thru and then tied into the controller. The unit works well and the installation was clean. Check the manual on the Cutmaster 52 wiring diagrams. Or as was previously stated call Thermal Dynamics.
Good luck, jj2k |

Here are Gusagus's pictures. Nice job by the way. Looks good.
"Here are a few of how i wired it up. use the wire diagram and follow the two ires back to the board. unplug it at the board and you should be able to slide the top off the connector, install your two wires on top or underneath in the connector and put the top back on the connector. then i went to a music store and picked up a gutiar amp cable and a jack, drill a hole for the jack in your machine, and wire that part up. take the cable cut one end up and wire it to your control box. simple plug in the back of the machine when you need it and it's all clean. thanks speed freak
the first picture is the back of my machine where i can plug in to with the gutiar cable going back to the control box. second is the connector that i taped into, the dark blue and red wire, if you use the wire diagram above you should be able to follow them back to this connector on the board. third is the inside back of the machine other side of the connector that i added for the gutiar amp cable last is a picture of the connector disconnected from the main board. the white part should pop off with a little force then jsut add your two wires in the same slots. |
