little black box

I have a TM3 table with Oxy and plate marker attachment.

My OXY doesn't work - cut or the solenoid.

On the back of the 2 plug box, there is a connector. That connector only has 3 wires, all in the bottom - red, black and white I think.

On the back of the USB driver box there is 3 sets of cables coming out of the output connector - 1, 3 and 5. Plasma, Plate Marker and OXY.

However, if I unplug the one for the plate marker and plug in the other for OXY, then it works, but my plate marker doesn't work (I also swap the plate marker for OXY plugs on the output, so both are always using #1, for example).

It seems to me that both connectors need to be made into one. So do I just pull the pins out of the one connector and put them into the other with the plate marker - following the coloring on the row below, just above?

You will need to test each output line. From what you described it sounds like you have a triple interface cable. Each of those cables contain two output lines. You will want to go to Configuration -> I/O -> Output lines. In this menu simply type in for lines 1-6 the numbers 1-6. Then in your AUX tab lines 1-6 can be activated. Once you determine which line is activating the solenoid you can configure the software to run each tool. Please refer to this guide for screenshots of the procedure.

Oh, ok, so your saying that (for example) red/black are one pair and white/black are the other pair? Being that there is a red, black and white wire in each of the three 'shielded pairs'.

I did try the 1-9 (actually) thing, but I think I did that and swapped the connector, rather than seeing if it would work the other way first.

but I will try that when I get to the shop today! Makes sense

That did it! The connector going to the plasma box looks like it would be outputs 1 and 2 and for the second box is 3 and 4.
