Torchmate sells a remote pendant option for the tables, that gives you a large amount of control from it (more functions then an Xb0x controller) and can go as far as USB will let you from the computer. The Torchmate Drivers software won't accept a xbox controller as an input, unless that controller is simply controlling the mouse on the screen.

What's the ballpark pricing on that remote pendant? The web site just says to call, and I hate calling and bugging people about something I'm not ready to buy yet.

some info about the "remote pendant" beyond "Call our CNC specialists at (866) 571-1066 for more details." would be nice, .... im in the midst of getting my unit up and running still but look forward to adding some optoins fairly soon... not having a price for stuff on the site is kind of a pain.

thanks

The 38-function Remote Pendant allows you to control your machine from where ever you need to be. It is specially programmed to take advantage of commonly used functions such as Jogging, Point Moves, Setting Zero, Controlling Your Program, Homing and Turning on and off your tool. It can also be easily programmed from the Torchmate CNC software interface for any special function that you need for your application. It connects to your PC using a 10' USB cable (included).

Significantly more versatile than a video game controller, but it does cost more also. Cost is $395 - 10% Pirate Discount = $355.50

Sorry, we are still trying to get the site updated with everything that was on the old site. Some of this stuff has been overlooked because we have been going crazy just trying to keep up. I appreciate your patience.

Any chance anybody sells a universal wireless usb adapter?

I didn't realize that controller had that much capability. I wish I would have spent the money on that instead of the laser cross hair gizmo that I burned up when I had my height set too high and had a blast of blowback on one of the apertures.

Is that remote able to jog the AVHC up and down as well? Usually when trying to get everything lined up I drop the torch down close to the metal, but that requires Jogging the torch on the Height Control box, then jogging the X and Y from the computer. Would be bitchin to be able to jog everything from one controller, and from anywhere around the table.

You can't use the jogging feature from the AVHC, however if you have it in Cut Disabled you can do an aux - Plasma On from it to bring it down to the pierce height.

Hi every one, I'm from Venezuela South America, I have a T3 for 5 years, I have been using a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad for almost that time to move the gantry, I have tried other with no results. You need to install a free software called JoyToKey, and it's works fine.

Sorry for my English

Revisit

Just ran across this post while searching the net for an answer to having a pendant type controller. The Mach3 users have got it down with any gaming controller type device. How 'bout us TM users. Any new information?
