deleting a file on tm3

how can i delete some of my uploaded/saved drawings on my torchmate 3 ? the files show up on the edit option under dxf import option.

To delete your history go to Configuration, Preferences then Files and change your Recent File List Length to 0 then click ok and go back into that menu and change it to back to what it was previously. This wont actually delete your files on the hard drive, to do that you would have to physically delete them in the location that they were saved to.

cool thank you. one more question. on the motor signals i have to maually change them the way a want the machine to run every time. is there any way to lock my settings? on line 1 and 2 i have them set at Y positive and line 3 at X negetive. i would like to keep it that way because the position i have my table and computer they match the way i see the table cut and what it shows on my screen.

After changing them go to 'File' and select 'Save Setup' this will save any changes you make.

I could of sworn we did that, more then a few times. I wonder if your laptop has some kind of read/write permission problem with the user account you're using.

lol we did. but i was opening it with the wrong saved settings . i deleted the other options. the one i kept is the one you set up. oh and how can i make my own folder to save my cad drawings? the only one that i got to save stuff was in the auto file.

Right click in the blank area in a folder, then choose New and then Create Folder.
