Useful threads, How-to's and other information

There is so much good information in this section of the forum and it is getting hard to find it all. A single thread that is a sticky with links to the useful information seems to be needed. I did a few how-to's and there are a few others that should be linked and then there are some set-up and configuration threads that should be in here as well. I figured I would get the ball rolling on this and then a mod can stick it to the top of the forum. This is just a start so ad the links you find help you the most.

How do I or how-to's;

Trace an image in TM-CAD-Lite

CAD-Lite, Tool Paths

CAD-Lite, weld on bead locks

CAD-Lite tapered bracket (one way to do it)

Welding and alignment tools in Torchmate CAD-Lite

how to curve text

CAD-Lite - Cutting and rounding corners

Video walk through of making a flange, it is buried in the thread but worth watching.

Common Line Cutting Walk Through and how to index a cut

Bridging Letters Walk Through

Adding fonts to CAD-Lite

How to recover a drawing from a tool path

When you import in a picture from AutoCAD or Solidworks they come in broken, here is the fix.

What are all the Keyboard Shortcuts

Keep track of your settings for different materials. A great spreadsheet to use as a reference by Wayne.

Please post links to threads that have helped you get going, get set up or the things that you have found useful in this forum and I will ad the links so there is only one place to go to find these things. I searched for the cut/charge sheet thread and came up empty. It should be in here for sure IMO.

Thanks SoundMan! I stuck the thread at the top. I will most likely delete any posts on this thread other than actual "how to" links. Just a heads up, if anyone has questions about these particular items, post up questions in the forum as a new thread rather than cluttering this thread with them.

If I had the full version CAD I would do it. If anyone else has it and wants to post a walk through I will link it in here.

4x4 Router set up

I have a 4x4 growth table currently set up for plasma. I am about to transition to router to show my students the other possibilities. Have they came out with better setup instructions for installing the router package. I only received the wiring diagram with my order and that's not the best thing to go off of.

Thanks
