Torchmate Online Training Sessions Available Here

Here is a link to the first of what we expect will be many online training sessions about using Torchmate Products. This first one contains the basics of using the TorchmateCAD program to draw parts. As we do more of these online webinars, we will continue to add the links here:

Webinar #1 TorchmateCAD Basic Training

Webinar #2 Welding, Node Editing and Scanning

Webinar #3 Various Drawing Techniques and Common Drawing Questions

The above webinars build on each other, so you are going to want to watch them in order. That way you can get the most out of them.

TM CAD Training Videos By Forum Members

Thought I would create this. Hope TM makes it a sticky. I will continue to add to this as soon as my broken foot heals up a bit.

- Specific Training -
Manually Tracing Images
Manipulating part of a part
Measuring Tools
Single Line or Stick Line Fonts
Nesting, with and without arrays
Curving text and a little more alignment tool
Customizing Hot Keys and Tool Bars
Importing Images and Converting to Vector
Widening Lines Proportionally
Tool: Align to Baseline
Basic lettering--preventing unexpected drops
Triangles, shape manipulation, and line thickness
Getting DXF Files From Other CAD Programs Cut Ready

- Designing Parts -

This section covers use of multiple tools and cool tips and tricks. Too many to list here. The purpose of part design videos is to cover all the tools in action and some things that may not be covered in the more rigid training format above. I believe they are worth watching.

Sign Making for Newbs and Potential TM Customers
Gussets
Bearing Hangers
Motor Mount
Designing a sprocket
Designing a gokart bumper
Simple L-Bracket And Some Resizing
Another Gusset And A Caster Wheel Plate (My first parts used for my table)
