If he's already hauled small blocks in the back I highly doubt the tongue weight of a little GN is going to cause the car any grief.
Metros are virtually indestructable.
I once rolled one into a slightly frozen over creek/ditch. Once rolled back over it ran and drove just like new. It barely even wrinked the sheetmetal of the roof. They don't even weigh enough to hurth themselves.

Tandem axles on the goose with those little itty bitty snowmobile trailer axles/wheels/tires. It is really the only reasonable option

You STFU and GTFO. Is there not a thread on here about you leaving? Bye!

OP I see you might be somewhat local. Had I seen your goose neck in person before I saw this thread, I might have put it in the BGT thread since there is not a LGT thread.

If its gonna be a custom goose then build it short..Drop some damn 1/2" plate between the strut towers and go at it. Then build a tube structure around the perimeter of the back end, brace it to the hitch..

Ive seen guys at junkyards use cars chopped up as parts pullers all the time..There is a certain yard in philly that has been running a sentra SER with the rear chopped out of it for years..

This makes me remember arguing with my second ex wife about forcing her to drive the drag race car to work while i took her 4 door geo..Hell i worked farther, she just went 30 city blocks.

Does the cool factor always excape you?

Its very hard to take anything you say serious after you posted the POS ford with the ghetto trailer as a commercial hauler.

No go play in traffic. Adults are talking now.

The cool factor escapes you. Nothing cool about working a Geo that looks like a truck. Much cooler to work a Geo that looks like grandma's car.
Me restifying the F350 dually resulting in you bashing shows you have no imagination of what's possible with a bit of hard work.
Adults? Not you, bashing shows you're a me-too, arrogant, join-the-crowd, immature, insecure, closed-minded boy unable to be fair or open your mind. The truly pitiable part is that you're not man enough to admit this and improve your bad behavior. This gives me the right to tell you to STFU. So; STFU.
BTW, with the trailer now re-furbished, it's working very well for towing paying loads behind my '06 GMC 2500HD.

Exactly what the guy with the T/A is doing. Must be a solid idea with some merit.

Yes I am pretty sure you did say something like that. But I think you HGTDed it. No one here gives a shit what you think. Period. I think we can all agree you sniffed to much brake clean while you were rebuilding all those old engines over the years.

I am actually surprised you figured out how to even get on the internet. I really hope you did not have your grandchildren show you how. Because that means your DNA has been shared.

Do yourself a favor and just stop posting here. Or better yet just forget this site even exists.

I think the metro is cool and the trailer is a good idea but here's my vote:

Chop the metro in half and scrap everything behind the back wall behind the seats. Fab an entirely new rear subframe (may or may not be a dually, could even use a small trailer axle and leafs.) Build a scaled down ag-style flatbed complete with headache rack, window guard, mudflaps, bumper, rub rails, etc.

I applaude you for building and driving that. I would totally rock that if my work didn't pay for fuel. I have always wanted to find one of the older toyota dually trucks. Friend of mine used to have several for delivery's. Here's one that's been modded a little much.

Here's is a good one and it looks to handle the load well.

Too heavy, just put a cut down truck tool box in the back.

The whole point of the geo metro is 40+ mpg.
