the nissan one was sold through PPL, but all the links are dead and it's not on their search anymore. I found the Curt for $225 (ball not included) though

This is a problem solver hitch
http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...-zer-hitch.htm I put one on my 32 foot trailer and all my issues went away not sway a great equallizer. there are a couple of others that work as well also, but I can attest to this one as great. I got mine on ebay for $200 and my boy was able to pick it up to save shipping.

I got the nissan hitch from PPL when they were selling them for $115 shipped. It's a 10k/1k hitch.
Here's the same hitch for $150: http://infinitipartspeople.com/searc...tch+Ball+Mount It's a decent unit, comes with all the brackets ect that you need. The only downside is you can't adjust it to have much drop. You can buy a drop shank for it but they are $90 just on their own. Here's the thread on here about the hitch: /forum/tow-rigs-trailers/930487-anybody-looking-10k-wd-hitch.html It worked great with a 6k trailer behind a Tacoma loaded to 5k. Truck was slightly beyond its weight limits but with the wd hitch and good trailer brakes I let my sister drive shifts in it going cross country and she had never hauled a trailer before. You may want a heavier duty one for your trailer. Last edited by RanchTruck; 04-16-2012 at 10:51 AM. |

There's quite a selection with prices on their site. I love this online site for all things towing. Bought a hub for my old car hauler that had the Ford bolt pattern. Cheapest I found, perfect fit, and came with all the bearings and lug nuts and such. |
