Anyone know if it is possible to convert an old 73 model camper built on a 1 ton Dodge Van Chassis to a 1 ton Dodge truck? The camper leaks but the chassis only has about 22,000 miles on it. Also has many new parts and it is a dually. The main problem I can see is the van cab is cut open in the back to allow access to the camper. Will a 70's truck cab and front end bolt/fit on this frame? It has a 360 and an automatic transmission. Would be perfect for a dually flatbed. Any help would be appreciated.

with a little welding you can make new body mounts and mount up a dodge cab, or just about any other. THought probabally the easiest is to get some steel, and weld it to the back of the open van cab.
