Late first/Early second generation Dodge/Cummins should be doable in your price range.

Keep in mind Ben that I am trying to convert what I would pay in Canuck bucks to real money.
Reman. Starter - $250 and up Reman. Alternator - $250 and up Complete clutch - $300 and up Rotor - $85 Front pads - $45 Rear drum - $85 Rear shoes - $75 Wix oil filter - $6 Wix air filter - $25 Wix fuel filter - $16 Injectors - $85 Modine Radiator - $400 Water pump - $50 My family has a heavy duty truck shop and one of the shop trucks is a bombed 94/5spd with over 650,000 KM on it. Engine has never been open, same for transmission. I would consider anything over 200K WITHOUT thorough maintenance records as suspect.
