93 Cummins and NV-4500?
Bought a 93 cummins 6bt from a guy locally. It's complete less a flywheel and the "adapter plate" that bolts to both the block and the bell housing. I have an NV-4500 from a 96 dodge and my cousin got me a flywheel from a 97. Finally my question is weather or not the dodge bellhousing from the 96 transmission will work with the "adapter plate" from a getrag transmission equiped dodge? (89? to 93)
I know I should check the TDR but I've never signed up and finally tried to tonight but they don't take discover. any how I was trying to find an answer tonight. Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply! I just got off the phone with a very nice guy at "Quad 4x4" in Montana. He told my that the bolt patterns are the same but the 94 and later plates are thicker to accomadate the taller deck height of the flywheel. So I was able to find the answer to my question.
Thank you very much for checking though! |
