a buddy of mine was tellin me that the dudes at 4wp are havin problems selling crawlers cause they were blowng up over 55mph ... anyone heard something along these lines

A goose neck like that weighs some where around 150 to 175 lbs per foot. So a 28' would be 4200 to 4900 lbs empty. This is not a given with any trailer because it depends on how they are built but it is a ball park figure.
