Got the Torqlift hitch and camper mounts. The camper mounts and the hitch installed perfectly, and in no time. Now I just need some air bags!

Camper mounts - The mounts are spring loaded, so no happy jack type turnbuckle is needed. Note the mounts are on little recievers that are removable when not in use.

The mother of all tag along hitches - 15,000lb. rating, and a 12,000lb. rating with an extension. The extension utilizes the factory hitch and the Super Hitch.

Note the camper receiver mounted off the super hitch.

Good meeting you too, man! Yes, I bumped 'em up to about 85lbs and it did make a difference. Definitely still need the 'bags though!

Actually all I used it for was to line everything up before I tightened it all down. A few gentle taps and it was good to go.

SD - It's an '85.

From the amount of length on the cabover I'd say it's queen size that's
situated sideways. My 9 1/2' Lance has the queen bed lengthwise.

Yep... I have one very similar to this one for sale in the the classifieds. It doesn't fit a '03 dodge because of the location of the bathroom/shower, however. It seems the new Dodges have narrower bed rails than other trucks.

I believe in 86 they started making the beds lengthwise. Very nice setup, Gary! Where the hell do you put your camper when you're not using it?

That's OK, I won't be in the market for a while. I was doing pretty good, getting ready to go... left the Jeep outside right after a trip recently and when I got up the next morning it was stripped. About the only thing they DIDN'T take is the wheels/tires.

Brand new truck sitting right in front of it, doors unlocked, tools in the toolbox which was also unlocked and they never touched it. They'd been eyeing my Jeep.

Truck has an alarm now. Jeep will never be left out again no matter how tired I am when I get home.

I already pay $50/month for a spot to

Are the bedrails narrower at the top, or at the tailgate? I went and looked at an '82 Four Wheel Popup over the weekend that wouldn't fit in my '97 Dodge, since it was 64" wide at the taigate and my truck is only 60".

I just snagged a Lance myself

It's an 1988 Squire 4000... I believe it's 9.3'
I was suprised how heavy the damn thing is.... REALLY glad I got the dually... except for needing swingout jack mounts. I fabbed my own when I priced the damn things

It'll rock a bit coming out of driveway etc. with any kind of angle. But it feels pretty damn solid. Took it up to Muenster, TX last weekend with a trailer full of ATVs. Tows awesome.

It's a very tight fit in my Dodge '03 due to the gray-water tank. Everything else seems fine. Bolted a belly bar to the rear factory receiver hitch that works good with the turnbuckles... but the front is still not resolved... I may buck-up and get the torklift for the front. It's really tight underneath especially on the driver's side of the dodge and I just don't feel like fabbing mounts to make a homemade belly bar for it.

How hard was the front install Lance?

oh... and my '88 has a full size bed with head and foot on the sides.

The only model Lance now makes with the bed "sideways" is the Lance Lite 815. It's 8.5' long.
