Is there anything left in the suspension on that trailer? Looks like the fender is on the tires.

It's people like that who end up getting people killed or mangled. Just because it can pull the load doesn't mean it should. Pulling the load is only half the chore... you also need to be able to stop the load safely.

I was climbing up the Vine heading north, only slowed down to snap two pics, I didn't want to stay too close, so I spooled up my CTD and shot past him. Turbos are nice for these moments.

Damn, that reminds me of when my Parents lived down in Puerto Rico. We used to see shit like that all the time. People even rode in there car while it was being towed on roll backs @ 55mph +.

Scary shit, man.

hell i was towing way more weight than that last weekend. i bet you it weighs less than a duece and a half, and i tow those all the time. and it is within the legal limits, just barely. i think a bunch of folks here have no idea what shit weighs.

The CHP doesnt even have a clue about weight, they turned me back through the scales today at cordelia and i only had 6,000+ lbs on. Thats on an F450 with a 40ft gooseneck.

Dude the local trailer hitch place says he can sell me an "unlimited" weight hitch. I wasn't buying it. Maybe this guy did.

I'm not saying it was safe, but I would like to know the weight of that thing before making a true judgement. The motor and tranny may be out of it, who knows? By the way have you guys seen the size of some of the tow behinds and fifth wheels being towed by blue hairs with the same trucks? Now that's scary. I bet it's getting a bigger reaction just because it looks ugly and wrong.

Wow, Lance, is that with weight distributing or without? Caspah showed me how my reciever TWISTED when I hit the brakes with the Jeep and no springbars. Pretty much run them all the time now!

I am pretty confident at the LEAST that trailer is overloading the tongue weight rating of that truck, if nothing else.
