Stuck in the middle........They both think they got the HP/balls to out perfrom the other.
We got a 2003 Dodge Cummins diesel pumped with ATS goodies (Lance's rig, see write up) and a 2000 Ford International diesel pumped with Bully Dog gadgets (UGETIT's rig, see write up). Now, I've been in both rigs. They both burn the tires off, pick up fast and I keep getting the question, who's is faster? All I hear is mine, mine, mine..... HELP!! I thought these guys should hit the track to work this out. If I am not mistaken, theres a track in Sacramento, CA that they could use. So let's make this fun.... Need some support/volunteers here. #1. We need a prize for the raffle. #2 Track location #3 Date and time? Lance, Kevin? Can you make it? #4 Ideas (Prize) for the winner? #5 Ideas (bra and panties) for the looser? I got the raffle tickets! Let's get down to pavement!

How fast are these guys in the quarter? If they're not in the 12s, you should include a Duramax...
I'm sure I could post over at DieselPlace.com and get someone to participate - there should be a few fast ones in the area.

One thing to consider about pulling a trailer is that you can't usually put full power to the truck (considering a module) because of exhaust temps, etc.
So, it'll prove which one of these particular trucks puts the most power to the ground loaded and/or which owner of the truck is willing to push his truck the hardest to get bragging rights. Most powerful/fastest truck can't only be done unloaded, imo.

Well, I saw the commercial with FORD out running the chevy on the drag strip. Went soooooooooooo fast he had to pull the chute to slow it down. Case closed. (Prolly get the same results if you line up the dodge)

commercial, but it's a pretty damned sharp SD...69f100: how fast is fast? Well, Quad Boenker, who runs Quadzilla chips, has dynoed his Duramax at 640 + rwhp. That's *gotta* be fast...

dura maxs can be bumped up quick. as in 400 rwhp with just a box. lances dodge will flog the power stroke if lance ponys up for a set of 80 to 100 hp injectors. but i still think he can take it right now. and when it is all over yall come down to texas and i will out run both of you. stir, stir

I was referring to the two trucks in question, not Quad's. 640 rwhp is plenty!!!
![]() Those duramaxes are just sick with just a box!

Yeah, I've got a Duramax... hehe... I only wish I had the money to make the Allison hold the 2 chips I have in my possesion.
![]() It'll be interesting once the chip makers (have time to) come up with comparable chips for the 6.0L & new CTD. I'm curious to see if the Duramax will retain an advantage simply because of the cubes, or if one of the other two will beat it out (with just a chip).

I went to a sled pull last November and the street diesel class ended up with 1 ford and 9 dodges in the top ten. Funny thing was that the one ford, a 2002 out of Florida, had a straight 6.

Stats -
2003 Dodge CTD (California standard output )
1999 Ford F250 PSD
We better race quick, though, because I have a 150hp/500tq TST box on the way.

Lance has this in the bag with the new chip and the trany upgrades. Kevin's trany will go byby and Shawn can't get throug the gears as fast as the auto can. MAYBE
