'93 7.3 won't stay running
My father-in-law's 1993 F250, non-turbo 7.3 started acting up yesterday. It will start and idle fine, but when you rev it up, then let off the throttle it dies. Hit the key and it starts right back up and idles fine.
It drives fine, but won't idle after it is revved. But it starts right back up every time. Any ideas?

Sounds alot like some sort of injection pump screwness. See if you can find some standyne performance formula fuel additive (try the ford dealer - it's sold in 1 pint bottle with a red label) The power service additive you can get from walmart is also acceptable. Then, pull the fuel filter (good time to replace it if needed), drain some of the fuel out, and pour the entire bottle of addative in. Then run it. She may run a bit funny at first, but this meathod usually works to free up sticking injection pump parts.
