If you have a wastegated turbo, all the intake, exhaust and fuel mods in the world aren't going to change the amount of boost. You'll have to make some mods to the turbo or the wastegate on the turbo in order for it to make more boost.

I can hit 38#'s on my 98 12v CTD - only mods are 4" exhaust, #10 plate, & AFE intake kit... Kinda scary really

drms turbo is wastegated to 25 psi or so and like he said he is pushing 38 lbs, The wastegate can only dump so much air.

Yeah, you have point there.... up to the physical limit of the wastegate, it will keep the boost at a preset maximum. Once you exceed the physical capability of the wastegate to dump the excess pressure, you will continue to build boost.

With the plate, comes a bleeder valve elbow to keep the wastegate closed longer...

Stone's numbers are right on for a stock 94.. the #10 will give you the added fuel and boost..

You wanna keep the turbo around 36-ish psi max, for efficiency, from what I've been told by Piers and the likes..

rich i am haveing a nightmare time with my tranny. i took it to the dealership because it the tranny shop guy was out of ideas. dealership said i needed a new computer. so i got one. same problem. so to date i have bought 2 trans temp sensors, 1 tps, 1 computer, and a shit load of tylenol for the headache! tonite i hooked the tranny temp gauge up and it bever passed 150, and that was driving hard through a long neighborhood, stops every block. jody at wnc has been helping me out alot with info from his tech there at the dealership in asheville. and he thinks i am getting fucked by metrolina dodge on the computer shit. so after 1700 for a rebuild, 275 for tps, 75 in temp sensors, 150 in computer, and 190 for a miss diagnosis from the dealership who said fuck off since i didnt let them plug the computer in, i am out of ideas. what would you or anyone else suggest?

94 ctd, auto, driving down the road trannytemp light comes on and shifts me out of o/d no matter what the speed. then will engauge again after a while, only 3 seconds later its back out of o/d. temp according to the strip off the pan hasnt past 190. and by the autometer gauge i havent passed 150. but the sensor trips at 280! any clues? thanks fellas this is bleeding a poor college boy dry!

dang, im sorry bud, im sure the 92's are different but my tps was crapping on me. cruising at 60ish mph it would kick out of o/d then go back in constantly. befor ei tore into it i took apart every electricle connection dealing with it and the trany and re lubed it all with dialectic grease. i have been problem free for 5 months now.

is it possible that you have a break in a wire somewhere inside teh wire coating that woudl only bee seen by a meter?? jiMMy

you've got a wiring problem somewhere... pulling the TPS wiring out of the harness will help, but I'd bet you've got an actual broken wire or bad ground somewhere...

Grab a multimeter, and probe the wiring coming from the trans... there can't be that many on a RH.. connect one probe to the tranny computer end of the wiring, and the other end down at the connector to the trans, and shake the wiring...

Or, depending on how many wires there are, temporarily jumper the factory wiring.. it's GOTTA be the wiring to the sender that's triggering the fault...and the O/D off is a safety precaution I guess when the trans gets too hot...

ok here is the latest. i ohmed all the wires that i thought could be part of it and found no problems. so i decided since it has a new computer maybe the old sensor is toast and to get a new one. i went to the parts house and got it. put it it and drove. i have driven 15 miles and no problems. even cold it was shifting better than before. i even sat a powerbraked it 2 times to see if i could heat it up enough to enduce the problem, didnt happen. but it does make some nice burnout marks! so i dont know how confident i am in it being fixed but its the first 15 trouble free miles in over 2 months!
