Hahaha! Thousand miles down, thousand to go. It is ass heavy but it the only way to get them out there. The bag on the roof is almost as heavy as the tire. 25mpg at pretty much 80 the whole way. The passat is tough we be fine!

The ones I've seen around here are all crewcabs

If they pull double duty (twin line for recovery) and self loader then yes we run 4dr or lwb.
But the repo only rig usually all run regular cab shortys around here.
But with that said there all 450 ferds or 4500 Dodge, lot heavier than that little 350 in the video. Lol.

Used to do that all the time when I worked for farmers. I remember sitting on the tailgate with my legs hanging off and making my boots roll smoke

hell, we have laws that specify age limits for riding in the back of trucks around here.

Couldn't outlaw it, just made it so people didn't make their kids ride in back. Too many farmers and hillbillies.

I'm sure there are laws, just no one cared.

I was 13 or 14 when I started driving on the roads with a "farm license"

Im guessing fifth wheel. We use single axle low boys like that all the time to move skidders and cutters. Usually rated for 15 tons

In the good old chain vs. ratchet strap argument, they choose chain.
