Someday I'm gonna narrow a 2wd OBS 1-ton Ford, plop a 2nd gen Ranger body on it and make people shit bricks doing stuff exactly like that. It should get great empty fuel mileage

For extra fun, put duals on the back and make it look like you added them on

Aside from the whole Ford ranger part, he even made a decent attempt to strap down the beams. He doesn't have enough securement on there for my liking but he tried. 2 belly straps, straps on the top layer, looks like a strap or two around the whole works, etc. Figured someone like that would just throw 2 straps over the whole pile and call it good.

There's a guy running around here with a drw ranger. I've never been able to get a picture or a close look at what he did to get duals on it thought.

Probably a JCWhitney 'Ranger' dual rear wheel kit... Used to look at them back in the early 90's when I ran a couple 2wd Rangers overloaded often. Not that it would have done much good other than possibly help in a blowout situation blah blah...

There is a 2wd 6.5 diesel dually Suburban where I work. It has a Dodge dually rear axle under it. I will get a picture of it just for fun.

c&c 14b 10.5" fits neatly under a ranger box with single rears if you use two short side shafts

I'd trust the TTB before the torsion bars. F150 springs and never put it in 4wd It'd be fine

my 04 ranger was only rated to tow 1200lbs my trailer alone was 1300 so just towing that empty i was technically over weight. towed a shortbed 95 s10 with no motor once with that truck and trailer and it was sketchy, only went a few miles and mapped my route so there was no hills. i couldnt imagine towing that camper even a few blocks
