Need advice about towing
I just bought a 08 f350 to tow my Jeep to the trail. I want a trailer with electric brakes. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendation on trailers to look at and ones to stay away from.
Thank you |

wirhout recomending any brands I do have some general advice for any trailer
make sure its big enough for your rig now and in the future, trust me nobody ever seems to make there trail rig smaller eletric brakes on both axles is a must axles with a higher rating than you ever think you will need are well worth the money, lots cheaper than upgrading later make sure the trailer can handle your friends trucks too, people just love to borrow trailers drive over fenders are better than about any other style, removeable are a pain, trust me lights should be protected and not some oddball style that you can't find on a friday night when you relize that they don't work. LED lights are a big plus in my opinion. buying a red star and searching this forum will get you more info than you could ever need with this info you can shop trailers looking for exactly what will fit your needs Brewchief |
