Well Going To Buy A New Tow Rig
Well at least new to me I just can not see spending 35k + on a new rig but i will pay for a used one...
So I have been looking at the trucktraders every week and I have found a couple of decent trucks 1999 ford f 250 power stroke 1999 25OO RAM CUMMINS BOTH GOOD TRUCK BOTH POWER WINDOWS LOCKS AIR STICK BOTH LESS THAN 50,000 MILES 20,000$$$ COULD BUY EITHER ONE? question every big rig operator and mechanic says buy the cummins but every guy that just drive the little trucks says powerstroke???? I like both and will probaly end up putting a banks powerpack on it! what do you guys think?????? (i know been discussed alot but ready to buy this week)

The Dodge may have a cigarette burn on the seat, or the Ford may have a Kool-Aid spill on the carpet... Go look at them and see which one gives you the best feeling about it. If you still aren't sure, call Banks and get pricing on what their kit is going to cost for either truck.

For a reg cab i like both of em.. ford alittle more because of the leaf springs, but not much.. ex cab, i am a sucker for the dodge, and for a crew cab it is ford... In my mind, it is more of what do you want in the truck, and buy whichever one works better for you.
