Cool My new tow rig!

I put a deposit on this truck yesterday. I pick it up on Sunday. It is a 1990 F250 Custom (with an upgraded seat) 4x4, 5spd with 7.3L diesel. I am getting it for C$5500 (US$3,571.43 at today's exchange rate). The driver's side needs a patch panel on the rear wheel well and the drivers door has three small spots of surface rust. Other than that it is a clean and very well maintained truck.

I'm going to repaint it two tone grey on the white because I just can't handle a plain white truck. It should look something like this by the time I get done with it.

I thought the same when I got my all-white GMC, but now I kinda dig it. Now, I'm thinking more along the lines of an aftermarket set of rims rather than paint..........hmmmmm......

Nice looking rig! Hope it works well for ya. What kind of milage does the average 90 have on it for 3500 US buckaroos?

It has approximately 295,000 km (183300 miles) on it. Being a Custom model it has absolutely no power options and no air conditioning. On average similar trucks usually sell for around $7-9000 with a few more options. From what I've seen used cars seem to be a little cheaper in Canada than they are in the US.

[thinking to self]Ooops what am I doing? Damned Americans are already buying up all of our used diesels and driving the prices through the roof. I'd better do a quick coverup.[/thinking to self]

I mean it has 64,370,000 km or almost 40,000,000 miles and used trucks around here usually sell for $400,000. They are all rusty and the engines are all blown. You don't want to come up here, honest.

Good find!

I like all white - my CrewCab is all white, but I used to have a Bronco that was the two-tone white/grey and I thought it looked good too.

Congrats!

Do a top/bottom or have some flames put on the nose. I do like the two tone in the below pic though!
