Cool Cash n Carry, negotiate

Went looking at trailers this weekend. Can you negotiate the price of a new trailer like negotiating a new house or car; or is it cash and carry? Any thoughts on this .

Cool, I do subscribe to the "What's the worse they can say, NO" theory.

You can negotiate the price of a trailer like you would a car. Difference being that there isn't as much room to move in a trailer as there is in a car. Remember, the trailer guy has gotta eat too.

Yep, he does, but he won't sell it unless he's making money .

Also any trailer siting on his lot is costing him interest too. So if he makes $50.00 over his costs, he's making money.

Depending on how his flooring is set-up, he has 60, 90, or 365 days from the time the trailer hits his lot, until the time that it starts to collect interest. Our trailers have "birthdays". If that trailer ain't gone in 11 months, it goes for whatever we got in it.
