Second Skin DYI BedLiner Install

Well I was lucky enough to WIN a DIY bedliner kit on Pirate4x4 from Second Skin.
http://www.secondskinaudio.com/produ...y-bedliner.php

Here is my write up and review of their product.
I will start with the installation, and then I will reply back in a few weeks to let you know how it is doing.

So I first sand blasted my bed, since it had some thick paint already on it, then I sanded it and then cleaned it.. WOW that was a lot of work..

after all the prep was done I taped off the truck and got to work.. I wanted to go over the bed rails since my bed rails were already scrtach and I knew I would probably get more scratches in the future.

So the bad news is I lost all the pics during the prep process.. CRAP

So I tokk the camera back outsdie today and took new pics of the finished truck..
this is up close shot

another up close to show texture

As for a review.. this stuff is AWESOME..

It was very easy to work with, went on very easy..
If I get another truck I would buy this and do it again.. well worth it..

So in a few weeks look for my response on how it holds up..

Thanks for reading..

Update:
well it has been about 5 months.. and I have used the crap out of my truck and the bed..

Overall the side are still in good condition except where I had my trail ramps rubbing on the front wall area for a few weeks and it rubbed threw to metal bed..

I also have had a bunch of areas at back of bed near tailgate that have chipped .. so overall strength of stuff I would have to say is not Great.. of course since it was free to me I am not gonna complain to much.. but I am sorry to say I would not put it in another truck if I had the choice..

Here are pics from this weekend after install gooseneck hitch. hard to see bad spots but if you look you can see worn and shipped areas
