tire "lubrication"

picked a couple used tires for the front of my tow rig. while they are in decent shape with no dry rot cracks, they have been sitting outside and feel/look pretty dry.

i know that alot of the "make your tire look wet" products are petroleum based and basically eat away at the rubber.

is there anything safe that will "lube" it up alittle, protect agains the UV rays and prolong the life alittle?
