truck spoilers

im currently towing my towhauler which im thinking is gonna stil about 4 feet higher than my truck.i can get a good deal on a polished spoiler that im thinking would help.i use my truck for 70 percent towing.mabye more than that.whats you guys experiance with theese things?

you'll have to save enough fuel 70% of the time to make up for the huge suckage factor for when you are just driving around the other 30% of the time... I'd research for some hard numbers at trucking sites etc

Unless the wing is very close to the trailer (or whatever you're deflecting air around), it's going to be worthless. If there is a large gap between the wing and the trailer, the turbulance coming off the wing is going to cause a considerable amout of drag which all but negates any benefits gained by the wing.

well its a gooseneck and my toyhauler on the back prolly from the wing to the camper 10 feet mabye,prolly less though

on rv.net there was a large discussion about this. In the end they determined that there is not a wing on the market that actually saves fuel. So like others have said not worth it.
