Piers diesel research

Hi Guys, just wanted to let some people know about a company that I delt with a month ago.

I have a 92 Dodge cummins with 39" tires on it, I wasn't impressed with the power now that the big tires were on it. So I went to a local company PDR (Piers Diesel Research) and asked what I could do to get a little more power out of it. I talked to Piers (the owner) and told me that all I needed to do was swap to a smaller turbo housing (20cm to 16cm) and get a Pyro Gauge.
He then said he would tweak my pump a little and tune my engine. So I got the following mods done about $600US including a boost gauge too.

My truck now hauls way more ass then it used to, and it leaves a nice cloud of black smoke. If anyone needs diesel parts or service Piers is the man to talk to. You can find him at piersdiesel.com

Thanks for your time.

Don Henry

Piers is the man. He builds some really nice turbos for Cummins and has all of power upgrades you'll need.
Piers and Al are very knowledgable about your Cummins and has good prices too.

I've bought lots of parts from him and can vouch for them.

I got a PDR HX40 turbo and SBC clutch from Piers. The turbo hauls pulls very hard in the mid to upper end. My exhaust gas temps are way down with virtually no delay in spool up.

PDR

Yeah Piers does rule, if you are ever down to BC, you have to go for a ride in his truck, its tuned to approx. 550 rear wheel horse and 1200lb ft. of tourque right now. He is half done installing his 150 horse nitrous system on it too. He has his PDR race pump on it and it pulls all the up to 4500RPM.

And just I would also like to add the disclaimer that I am not at all affiliated with piers.

PDR is great. Low prices and great customer service. Although just my luck, every company does it, but they sent me the wrong product. Just my luck, I dont blame them I blame myself because it happens every time I order something, regaurdless of the company. Great Guys though

Bought my Edge EZ for $195 TDR discount

Thumbs up

PDR is the sh*t. Al and Peirs are the most helpful, knowledgeable folks I've run into in awhile. Another oufit for your driveline needs, Brent at Driveline specialists in Las Vegas. This guy took about 4 hours digging through cores for my NV241dhd tailhousing, speedo gear and retaining rings, then sold 'em to me for less than 1/2 my cost from Dodge.

Piers is the man. I have had two diff turbos from him on my truck and both performed great. I am planning a short trip of 1500 miles down to see him this spring as I need some more HP for the ole dodge.

As a memeber and avid contributor to the forums of www. trubodieselregister.com I can not remember any posts about bad service or complaints about Piers at all.
