Dodge Combo
This has probably been covered but here goes.
I want to buy a 94-98 Ram 2500 Quad Cab Short Box 4x4 with a Cummins. I thought you could get a short box Cummins, but I don't see any for sale. Did they make this combo?

The first year that combo was available was '98. My dad tried to order a '97 with the club cab/shortbed combo and DC denied the order. Even the dealer didn't know it wasn't offered til they got a denial letter from Dodge.
Edit: '98 was also the first year of the Quad Cab. They didn't have the rear doors before that. Last edited by CSP; 10-09-2002 at 10:13 PM. |

I can't wait to tow something with it and see how it does. Should do better than the 2001 QC 1500 w/ a 318 I traded in.

'94 was std cab only
'95-'97 std or club cab '98 first year for short bed 2500, and first year of quad cab (what I really wanted ('98 quad cab long box 12 valve), but hard to find. 24 Valve started Jan '98. '98 is also when the interior was done; the mirrors changed, and the tailpipe changed. Pete
