Help with 2010 T4R Revtech lift (same as FJ :))
I just ordered my wheels, tires, and lift from 4 Wheel Parts.
20x9 Fuel Boost 6x5.5 w/ 4.5 backspacing. 285/55 r20 Nitto Dune Grapplers. Here is my question: Should I stick to my RevTech lift kit with the spacers and rear shocks or should I go with the Ultimate 3" lift from Toytec if all I really plan on doing is driving up onto some of the beaches back home to do some night time fishing? No real wheeling for me. I think my stock suspension set up is very soft but how stiff would the ride get with the RevTech kit? Should I get some after market rear shocks like the 5100 Bilsteins, some Bilstein struts for the front, and a read coil spacer kit to finish it off for around $800.00 including installation and alignment? Thats more like three questions but who's counting. Oh by the way, the RevTech Kit including installation and alignment is around $750.00 and the Ultimate 3" lift from Toytec is $1169.99 which includes shipping and handling but does not include the installation and alignment which would cost an estimated $499.99. Thanks a bunch. Last edited by Highwarchief; 09-20-2011 at 11:27 AM. |

First off, you got the wrong wheels, you should have gotten at least 22s for the type of wheelin you do. Second, keep the revtek lift and go over to the blue room (fjcruiserforums.com) and ask the same question there. You will get much nicer responses.
