fj40 disc brake conversion
Im thinking of buying some early 70's landcruiser axles from a buddy for $200 and put them on my 87 samurai but was wondering what all it will take to convert the front axle to disc brakes? Im a newbie to all this 4x4 stuff and any help would be appreciated.

You're Buddy is ripping you off if those pre 1975, corse spilined, axles are bone stock. If both axles have drum brakes on them don't pay more then $75 for the pair to a stranger. If this is your Buddy... I'd consider a Buddy Swap prior to a disc brake swap! Just my .02
