Formula Toyota S/N 001

Thought I would post pics of S/N 001 build up to what I hope will be a rolling chassis that will go on display at cal rocs next weekend. After 3 hours of bending tubing I ended up with this. Had some issues with bender today.

Maybe this will put to rest the question of whether the end-user can bend his own cage for the Formula Toy comp.

Answer: No.
Reason: Airride is designing it to be bent with equipment that no one else has!

right now it is just the chassis. in the future mike will have more accessorys available like pre fabbed firewalls, bodys, hoods, and stuff like that. but those parts are under development as of now.

the chassis welds to the frame

Mike, are you the guy that had the buggy at the first Frostoberfest. It was in 2000 I think. Camo, Frosty and Desert Toy were there. We did Wreckingball and Claw.

Thumbs up

The buggy thing looks like alot of fun, I'm looking every weekend at the classifieds for a donor rig. Can't decide whether to go with a formula rig or just build something I like. (EFI & Full Width) As far as the full body thing, it's kinda nice kicking on the AC in the summer and the heater in the winter. IMHO two rigs will be better than one.
