formula Toy "Rolling Chasis" up for sale

Dalton Fabrication has decided to build a "roller" to sell. It will include a 1985 frame, stripped of all of the body mounts. DOM chasis, basic fire wall, pedal mounts, basic floor board, seat mounts, steering box mount, heavy duty front spring mounts, and a couple of cool body mounts.

Basically, all of the "fabrication" will be done, ready to install all of your toyota running gear. The price will depend on how complete you want it. I will take some pictures as we go. We are starting on it today.

Fat chance Shaun, but a TF999 and D300 behind a Chevy 4.3L V6 will.

No, but I bet you could sell your heep as it is and have more than enough to get going in an Ftoy. Plus you'd be able hang out with us at the top of the trail

I’m assuming that it will have a title and be able to be registered green sticker in CA?

Would you consider offering a “trade in” allowance if I could provide a chassis w/ clear title for the next one to be built from, or a discount if I provide my chassis for you to put the F-Toy chassis + stuff onto? I think the F-Toys are awesome but I have no fab skills or tools.

We would give you $300 credit for your frame as long as it is straight.

No title. You would regester it yourself as a "special construction".

What about a small block 35, TH350, and NP203/205 with a D44 up front and a D60 out back? I would seriously be interested next year in something I could do that to. I'll bet it would skoot with all that in it.

Cool. I'll probably end up buying a F-toy chassis and welding it on my pickup chassis after I scrap all the Willys pickup parts. I have been thinking about how much fun it would be to compete in the F-toy class and buying a roller chassis from you guys would definately save some time. After all part of the draw of the F-toy class is to lower the barrier to entry and lower to cost.

Good luck guys.

Please understand that if you want to compete in the "Formula Toy Series" you will need to build one to spec. You can get the specs at www.formulatoy.com. Basically, it has to have all Toyota pickup running gear.
There are alot of people that build Formula Toy's with other than toyota running gear. They just don't compete.
