#36 Has a new owner

Guys,

I have sold and parted out my Ftoy and the new owner is Brandon Ricks of the Toyota Trail Riders in TX. Brandon goes by Ricks72nTX here on the board.

I had to make a choice over my own interests (competing) or raising my 2.5 year old little girl and keeping her out of Day Care. Needless to say, I can build a rig anytime, but a family is another story. My wife's side has had some serious health issues and I now watch my daughter 7 am to 6 pm and take her to work with me 5 days a week. I'm not complaining.

Thought an intro was in order, Brandon is a GREAT addition to the Ftoy owners and really proud he's the new owner. Good Man.

Best of luck to you guys and the Ftoy movement. Was proud to be apart of it while I can.

The proceeds from my sale has bought me ONE SWEET FJ40 that I can daily drive and wheel on the weekends locally.

Peace,

mark

Mark,

Thanks for your hard work regarding the F-toys, you were totally committed and I appreciate that. Family should always come first, you made the right choice. Who knows what the future holds, maybe you will get another chance to get involved later down the road. It was fun to meet you and hang out in Globe.

Best Regards,
Matt

Best of luck Mark, family is #1. Down the road, I'm sure you'll be back.
How about posting up a few pics of the FJ?

I hope to take the f-toy from where Mark left off and try to get it in some comps maybe even trying to get something going for the central/southern crowd

Mark, sorry to see you go. But family is much more important than wheeling, it's close but....

Brandon, welcome onboard

Rich

It's a bummer you had to sell for the time being Mark, but like everyone else said it's all about your family.

Hope to see you still be involved with the F-Toy scene, you've really added alot, thanks

Guys, thanks for the kind words and support. In the long run putting this kind of time into my daughters development will reap huge rewards down the road. I gotta admit, playing hopscotch, freeze tag, driveway chalk after work is a departure from headed to the shop wrenching but in a way..its surreal.

Getting involved locally with my TLCA chapter and enjoying that on the weekends with this:

If you guys get access to ftoy.com and need a webmaster, I would do it for free. It would be a nice way for me to stay in touch and connected still.

peace,

mark

Mustard Dog has a Howe Steering Box that will fit that thing. He also has all kinds of other parts that come off of this cruiser before he went tube chassis.

Alum steering colomn
Storage box between seats
alum fan shroud
and all kinds of other gay landcruiser stuff
