So when are you gonna let the rest of us in on these driving secrets??

Congrats guys, even did it with a carb and no tricky stuff (well, maybe the official ProRock cone stack ).

Are you kidding, Tim stacked a pyramid around the B cone of the last course

Not that you were anywhere near hitting it, but I was laughing my ass off. Couldn't even see the cone from where I was standing

I couldn't resist. When Dave convinced those judges that you could let a rock that you stack slide into a cone and not get penalized I about split a gut. I had to role with it.

Is that what Dave was doing in the video? That must have been later Sunday, I missed That.

The first time he did it he set a rock down so close that when Matt drove on it it hit the edge of the cone and the top of the cone moved about 3 inches He then convinced the judge that that is o.k. The one in the video was 3 gates later on the same course. It slid into the cone as well.

However in reading through the pro rock rules they do not have anything written on the subject so I guess maybe it is legal??????? I don't see that happening at a We-Rock event.

As long as the tire does not cross where the cone was, it's not a cone. Both times I did that, I put a rock where the outer edge of the tire was going to cross AND inside the cone. I wanted to move the car to the left (in the video) when the rear end got light. People do it all the time in ALL of the series. But... if the tire crosses the footprint of where the cone was... it is most certainly a cone.

I was told by a judge at another event(CalRocks I think) that if I put a rock down and it hit's the cone, that that we would be penalized the same as hitting the cone. So I've gone with that all season.
