Hobie knows his Formula chassis.
Don’t think Whaley had the X gussets and that is the first generation X so it in the first 10. If you have the original owners name I can look it up for you.

This thing is on it's second or third owner. It apparently never had the grill hood up front.... I assume Air Ride can hook me up with that
. The current owner said he got it with the front windshield area supports cut out. That's an easy fix. I'm just happy to have found a chassis I could afford.Legs... they sorta match the legs and wheel currently on the frame I'll see what I can find out about the original purchaser. Thanks!

The chassis was last owned by Dillon Ball. Don't know if he bought it from Hendrix or someone else tho.
I should get it to Kansas in January.

He must have bought it from someone; I don’t have that name in my list.

Air Ride, if I may make a suggestion?
Since Darren(aka Seabass) is kicking down the Serial Number plates for these things. What if he just sent them to you and you riveted them on in a standard location. Would make them much easier to track. I wouldn't have thought it was important, but people seem to want to know what # they have. Just an idea. Ary

Seabass,
Send me a banner for your bizz and I'll get it up on the Ftoy site...on the house for all your support. It's greatly appreciated and would like to offer something back. mark@buckeyebirfield.com to discuss further.

I looks like the only two early chassis' that aren't accounted for in either built threads or sig lines are 005 and 008. Anyone know the whereabouts of either of these chassis'?
If we can ever get a weekend that it ain't supposed to snow I'm go'n to retrieve my chassis

Todds is #006
You can order the windshield bars from Hendrix as well, and while you're at it get the side panel bracing, it makes for a way cleaner look than running a couple round tubes there.

That's cool, just be sure to make them out of square tube so you can have one single continous panel rather than three, looks WAY cleaner.
