We plan to do all the East Werock events. Will have 1 rig early to mid season possibly 2 before the end of the season.

If we don't have at least 3 rigs at a comp then it doesn't count for points anyway. Correct me if i'm wrong.

no, i think it counts. WEROCK considers FTOY as one of its own classes. so if only 1 shows up in the east coast to all the events, then that guy wins!!! and he gets to go to nationals in boyd, tx.

which part? if you run an ftoy, you will be in the ftoy class, even if there is just one of you. if you are the only 1, then there can only be 1 winner. lol. to qualify for the grand nationals. you have to enter and compete in 4 werock events. so guys that are in the middle of the country can go both ways (like Tim) if they would like to. so next year, if you run all 4 east events, you automatically qualify for the grand nationals, where you will compete against us west coast boys bring it

Verification on the "I think" part. I asked Lil Rich last year and he said he'd prefer 3 rigs to keep points. He didn't say that we HAD to have 3 though. It doesn't really matter to me as I plan to do them all anyway but for others who are considering part of the series I thought it would be nice to know.

Hobie, Last time I asked Litlte, he said 3 rigs make a class. We have to ask him for a special if it's only one or two, but they would still run the stock mod course, so no difference in points.

I can't be a committed competitor due to work (military), however I am interested and will be at the events I can. I don't have any "competition" experience, no fab or tech guru background either. I will be doing this for fun and as a good way to learn. The buggy will need a few changes to meet safety regs: nothing big from what I'm reading.
