Well for my rookie event, I had a blast. Even though I broke on Sunday. It was great meeting everyone. The Ftoy class is awesome. The courses were more then I expected in a good way. I will be back for next season. A big thanks to everyone for the advise on the courses. Thanks to the TG crew, the Marlin Crew, for the spare parts, and borrowed tool to help get me back going after my roll on C4 Sunday.
I will have some of the pictures my wife took up here in a bit. Congrats to everyone on a great weekend! |

You mean the one that called time at only 8 1/2 minutes? What a donkey
![]() It's unfortunate that Rachel got her feelings hurt, but that is a BIG problem. Lucky for Brian and Dave that Matt had an 80 point lead So that extra 40-60 points didn't make a difference in the standings. If that shit happened in pro mod or unlimited, heads would have rolled. That said, Donner was sick. Best F-toy courses I've ever seen, and awesome turnout. Thanks Mike and Jake for leaving the keys in your F-toy so I could comandeer it

Nice pics mr. mobil!
I had a great time running with everyone. Just wish I could have actually watched some of you run, and met more folks. Since Dave and I were running Pro Mod as well, it just wasnt in the cards.

In the big scheme of things, that course didn't change a thing. Matt and Craig stomped the shit out the courses and the competition.

We are going to replace all the stop watches with egg timers....
you can set them at 10 minutes and they count down. I would suggest all teams do the same thing, if there is a time issue at least there is a basis for an argument. But remember, the Judges timer is the official timer. A timer in the rig will help the driver and team in dealing with on the course strategy. As your on course when you ask for time from the judge compare what you have on your timer to make sure your on the same page... Big Rich

Beside the fact that I got to compete, as a Tin Bender, I want to make sure our sponsors know that we appreciate them, and that we do our best to make sure everyone knows that...
