Got a little more done this week. Total wheel base 112". 16" fox with 8" uptravel sitting at ride height. The fuel cell is going to sit rear of the shocksand battery sits between. I really tried to keep the ftoy look but its was not possible with the rear seat. Was also able to save the existing floor panels. This will have to do. Air bumps next week. Hope to have it complete for a test run next weekend.

Where are you going to put the bump stops?

First trip out with links on all corners. Our plan was to run down outer limits and up spooners but another rig broke, so finished up at backdoor.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next step is going to install bumps and play with the spring rates. By the way it flys in the woops. |

After about 4 trips to the Hammers I noticed that the drivers front corner is twisted out 1/4". That made the pitman arm move out 1" also the panhard bar twisted the frame out which shifted the front diff to the driver side 2". I could only steer passenger side to 1 oclock.... so lots of plating and bracing had to take place before putting back together.

I have this crazy idea. I can pick up a 3rz complete with harness and TRD supercharger total cost will be 2200.00. Will changing the bellhousing and everything else be worth the effort?

You won't be changing the weight of your engine noticeably, so your suspenson can stay dialed. You'll get an engine that REALLY snorts. Keep shopping, unless the TRD's are really rare, I'd guess you could get into one for less than $2k--more like $1,500??

Its been a while but I have been working on it between runs. Here are pics of the new TG front housing its the tacome width no spacers. Need to increase front ride height by 2" for better up travel. Also, need to figure out the full droop. Is there a guy in the LA area that does shock tuning. I would like to go to tech day and see if this can be dialed in a little better
![]() ![]() ![]() Finally installed front air bumps ![]() ![]() ![]() Rear Bumps ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh and this good thing I have window nets. My son was in the passenger rear and wanted to do it again. The wider front housing allowed me turn hard passenger and drive out

Well here we go again. After 4 years i guess its time for more power. I have been reading about this kick ass ford 2.3l turbo motor. Should produce about 255 HP in a 4 cylinder. I plan on installing a C4 automatic trans with Advanced Adapter to Toyota tcases 23 sp.

![]() Did you use an adapter or was there a different bellhousing application that would mate the two together?

Spent the last week mostly looking for parts. Well to my surprise, the bellhousing that connects the 2.3 to the c4 is harder to find than I thought. I contacted Culhan Transmission in Lake Elsinore and they said of course thay had it. Should take another 2 weeks to pick up. IWill be cutting the frame off at the holes for the shackles and run tube around the front. Small stinger for winch and lights. Also going to 4 link the front to get rid of the pan hard bar.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also picked these up
