check this ebay auction out....
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1874321240
Who here thinks this dude is being a little dis honest? I think he's tricking the less informed people into thinking they are bidding on a bolt on power steering unit for a Landcruiser. I'm not happy with this guy, better not be a member here......

That was one of the most confusing auctions I've ever seen. Now I think I'll go buy a bunch of saginaw setups out of the junkyard and post em up on the net for $600 per kit. Or maybe I'll just sell a link to Woody's tech section for like $50 each.

I emailed the seller and told him he was a total scam...
That BS to sell things described like that...somone will waist all there money on a bunch of junk. You can buy a new pump and box here in town for $250...lifetime warranty... And the crap about fitting any engine...yeah with a custome bracket which he forgot to mention. What an ass...

Ya this guy is simply trying to take advantage of someone. I know its not too cool but I e-mailed the current highest bidder and gave him the link to this thread.
Heck the cost to ship a junk yard box and pump would be about the same as getting one locally.

I'm glad to see you all feel the same as I do about this. I'm all for Ebay, infact I sell junk on there all the time. But I'm atleast honest about what I'm selling. I don't try and take advantage of people.

This guy has been doing this for a while now, I have seen several of these auctions with the same description.....It is a bit deciptive, but around here the 4 bolt box's are getting hard to locate, the last one I paid $60 for it and was happy to get it.
Almost all of the yards have crushed all of the older cars. Another thing I'm having trouble locating is the PS brackets to fit the older small block Chevys, less and less in the yards. Butch

I emailed the seller too.
The guy totally knows he a buttf@wker. Damn guy gave me flashbacks to when I first got my Cruiser. Seventeen and got totally raped on getting powersteering on my 40. That was the last time though. Seriously this site, IH8mud, and all of the others that would take forever to mention, do a great job of helping and saving people from a$$holes like that guy.

I've been in contact with the seller and after a few emails back and forth it seems that he may not be a total a$$wipe. His last email to me said that his ad is just cut and paste from people that bought from him. He is giving the install information when they win. I told him that I thought he was a d!ck for the way he was doing the auction. Maybe from now he will do things a little differently.
Maybe I'll just jump on the money train until it crashes.
